Design and System CostCH Four Biogas prides itself in offering its clients systems that will reliably perform - often above expectations. Some of the considerations that inform our design: Maximized Gas Quality: Gas quality has a direct impact on the performance of the gen-set or "combined heat and power" (CHP) unit. This piece of equipment is the heart of the biogas system, as it produces the electricity and heat necessary for optimum system performance and process flow. The "cleaner" the gas, the more efficiently the gen-set operates, and the longer the interval between oil and parts changes, as well as engine block rebuilds. Gen-set downtimes can be costly. Aside from the expenses associated with repairs, colder ambient temperatures can lead to significant heat loss and kill off the bacteria necessary for the digestion process. Re-establishing the ideal environment for the anaerobic digestion process can be difficult and time-consuming, leading to further loss of otherwise realized revenues, as well as additional expenses. Feedstock Acceptance Flexibility: Genset Rating vs. Output: The gensets for our systems sized so they perform are Too many times, gensets are installed that do not Future Expansion Options: |
Our standardized anaerobic digesters are modular, allowing for future expansions and system alterations.
CH Four Biogas designs and implements digester facilities that produce biogas that can be converted into electricity or upgraded to biomethane.
