| At CH-Four Biogas we specialize in the design, installation, and optimization of anaerobic digestion (AD) systems and are active in the industrial, municipal and agricultural sectors in North and South America. CH-Four Biogas systems are designed to utilize a wide range of feedstocks and can include both pre- and post- processing of digester materials. Our technology uses a biological process known as anaerobic digestion to produce a combustible gas from the decomposition of organic material. This “biogas” is composed of roughly 60% methane and 40% carbon dioxide; the co-product is digestate which is an organic fertilizer, livestock bedding or compost. Biogas technology has been successfully employed in numerous applications since the mid-19th century. Currently biogas systems range in scale from single family and single livestock units to multi-megawatt community systems. Municipalities, farms, waste-water treatment facilities, and industrial complexes have successfully exploited our expertise and experience with biogas technology. |
